It’s unfair to compare Garrett Nussmeier to his predecessor, Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels, and they have different skill sets. But Nussmeier has impressed me, even in the season-opening loss to USC. Though an excellent performance against a good Alabama pass defense wouldn’t guarantee an LSU win, it’s hard for me to see a Tigers victory if he doesn’t star.
