Thai rapper and singer BamBam of Got7 was on hand to support fellow K-pop star G-Dragon on Feb. 24, unveiling his new timepiece, the Astronomia Solar G-Dragon, with Jacob & Co. at the company’s first boutique in Seoul. For the outing, BamBam wore Louis Vuitton.
BamBam chose a black velvet blazer from the French brand. The piece, with its peak lapels, included a silver LV monogram above the chest pocket. In addition, he wore a beret and light wash denim jeans with a flare. The flare silhouette has been popular with Louis Vuitton’s men’s creative director Pharrell Williams in his own personal style. They also had a significant moment at the Super Bowl when Kendrick Lamar went viral for his flare blue jeans from Celine.

BamBam also wore a pair of Louis Vuitton monogrammed boots.
The musician was named an ambassador for Vuitton a year ago after attending each of Williams’ runway shows since his debut at the French label. He joined a lineup that included Jackson Wang, another Got7 member. Last month, the performer wore all black to the latest Louis Vuitton men’s show.
For a timepiece, BamBam chose Jacob & Co. Specifically, he wore the brand’s Casino Tourbillon Rose Gold Baguette design. The watch includes a spinning roulette wheel in a 44-mm rose gold case. The dial is set with 96 baguette-cut white diamonds. The $380,000 design is one in a number of timepieces BamBam owns from brands like Richard Mille and Patek Philippe. He’s worn the Casino Tourbillon Baguette often, debuting it in an unboxing on social media last year.

Jacob & Co., a watchmaker and jeweler, has a penchant for attention-grabbing timepieces. During the Super Bowl this month, Tom Brady wore a rare $740,000 design from the label. Covered in yellow sapphires, the watch was the Caviar Tourbillon. Brady wore it while appearing on Fox Sports as a broadcaster.
