Brooks Nader was in Las Vegas with boyfriend Gleb Savchenko on Friday, in coordinated street style looks. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover star chose head-to-toe Saint Laurent. She wore a pin-stripe navy skirt suit. The suit included an oversized wool blazer. The oversized jacket featured padded shoulders, and sources inspiration from the 1980s. Hailing from the brand’s fall 2023 collection, it was paired with a knee-length pencil skirt of the same fabric featuring a split up the front. The skirt featured slit pockets. Underneath, she wore a spaghetti strap sheer top.
To accessorize, Nader chose a black leather belt featuring a gold YSL logo. Her shoes were also black: a pair of d’orsay-style leather pumps from Saint Laurent that feature a pointed-toe and a strap detail that is oxford-inspired. She carried a black leather Kelly bag from Hermes.
In a previous review, WWD’s Miles Socha said Anthony Vaccarello‘s collection was hyper focused on broad-shouldered jackets and pencil skirts. “Tackling skirt suits was a new challenge for the designer, more recently focused on statement overcoats and tube dresses,” Socha noted. “The show climaxed with sheer blouses, sheer pencil skirts and some draped velvet, leather and chiffon evening confections that echoed Vaccarello’s very soigné men’s collection, where everything also started from the shoulder.”
Nader is prone to sheer fabrications. While at the L’Agence holiday dinner at the beginning of the month, she wore a sheer lace top from the contemporary label. She paired it with the company’s silk pleated trousers as well as a Chanel chain belt. A week before that she attended the PrettyLittleThing launch with Elsa Hosk wearing a lace miniskirt set from the brand, which included a top with sheer sleeves.
Next year, Nader will make her next step in her fashion journey. In March, she will release a collaborative collection with Hudson Jeans. That range is inspired by the 1990s. It includes jeans, T-shirts, micro mini skirts and more. It is the model’s first apparel collaboration and takes cues from “model off-duty” looks, with inspiration from names like Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington.
