Dua Lipa wore Chrome Hearts and performed on stage alongside Cher on Saturday at the 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Cleveland.
Lipa performed “Dream,” Cher’s 1998 hit song in a matching outfit with the inductee. Lipa wore a sleek black leather, dual-slit dress by Chrome Hearts. The dress featured two slim panels, black bejeweled cross appliqués, a halter neckline and a corset bodice. It also included three strings of silver chains at her hips that held cross charms. She wore black fishnet tights and completed the look with black knee-high boots and accessorized with a statement chunky bracelet and silver rings.
Cher, also in Chrome Hearts, opted for black leather chaps and a leather corset. The look included elements of a blazer including long sleeves that added a tailored layer to the look. The ensemble included a leather mini skirt with a statement belt across the front that ran parallel to the belt across the leather corset. Similar to Lipa, Cher also opted for black fishnets and accessorized with silver jewelry with a statement cross chain.
Earlier in the evening, Lipa walked the red carpet in a black gown by Prada that seemingly paid homage to Cher. The dress was a black two-piece, with a halter top and a floor length pencil skirt. The top was adorned in large black sequins and created a criss-cross shape over Lipa’s décolleté. Lipa accessorized with two black cuff bracelets and wore her hair down and back. The singer walked the carpet with her father, Dukagjin Lipa, who opted for a traditional black tuxedo.
Cher walked the red carpet with her boyfriend, Alexander Edwards and his son. The “Believe” singer wore an all-black leather outfit. The look featured a leather corset with several angular panels and long sleeves. In a similar fashion, Edwards and his son wore all-black, with Edwards donning a black leather jacket, shades and silver accented shoes.
