Emma Corrin turned to the runway for sartorial inspiration for the premiere of “Nosferatu” in Berlin on Monday. The Emmy Award-nominated actor stars in the film, helmed by “The Witch” and “The Lighthouse” filmmaker Robert Eggers.
For the red carpet event, Corrin wore a selection from Saint Laurent‘s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The minidress featured long sleeves and contrasting colors in shades of vibrant blue, burgundy and glitter lace mesh.
The frock featured a rounded neckline with a plume evocative of Victorian-era style, which mimicked the cuffs at the end of the dress’ long sleeves. The body-con silhouette included sheer elements along with the lace detailing.
Corrin paired the dress with sheer tights in nylon and slingback pumps in patent leather with colored stone in resin.
Corrin’s dress made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week last September. “I wanted to mix it up,” Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of Saint Laurent since April 2016, said before the show. “Saint Laurent is a ready-to-wear house, known for its jackets, for its suits — real pieces of everyday life. And I wanted to pay homage this season.”
Vaccarello “explored multiple moods to reflect the complex Saint Laurent woman: confident in a slouchy, mannish suit and tie one day; bohemian the next in flowing tunics and pajama pants the next, and then extravagant at night in flashy brocade jackets with big jeweled buttons and lace-trimmed miniskirts,” Miles Socha wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
“Nosferatu” is a new iteration of the classic gothic horror story, with an initial film adaptation that debuted more than 100 years ago in 1922. The movie follows Ellen Hutter, played by Lily-Rose Depp, who is haunted by a mysterious vampire, played by Bill Skarsgård, wreaking havoc across the land. The film costars Willem Dafoe, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Nicholas Hoult. “Nosferatu” will be released in theaters on Dec. 25.
