EXCLUSIVE: Louis Vuitton Names Callum Turner Brand Ambassador

Louis Vuitton has a new leading man: the French fashion house has tapped British actor Callum Turner as brand ambassador, WWD has learned exclusively.

“Turner’s pursuit of excellence in his craft and diversity of roles aligns with the house’s own dedication to exceptional craftsmanship and constant quest for innovation. On and off screen, he expresses a genuine and endearing charisma while his elegant sartorial choices have earned him a notable stylistic following,” Vuitton said in a statement.

The appointment caps a year that saw Turner star in the Apple TV+ World War II-era miniseries “Masters of the Air,” stoking demand for aviator jackets. Off screen, the “Fantastic Beasts” star has made headlines for his relationship with pop star Dua Lipa.

The actor is no stranger to fashion. In his teens, he was a model and subsequently worked as a sales assistant at Dover Street Market in London. Last year, he appeared in a campaign for luxury brand Montblanc, and he’s been a front row guest at fashion shows for brands including Tom Ford and Burberry.

Turner has appeared in a variety of roles, from the TV crime drama “The Capture” to the coming-of-age film “Queen and Country,” the period romantic comedy “Emma” and the George Clooney-directed “The Boys in the Boat.”

Upcoming projects include the lead role of the series adaptation of the William Gibson novel “Neuromancer” at Apple TV+ and the war comedy “Atropia,” according to WWD’s sister publication Variety.

At Vuitton, he joins a roster that includes actor Bradley Cooper, rapper Pusha T and K-pop sensations such as J-Hope from BTS, Felix of Stray Kids and Got7’s BamBam and Jackson Wang, as well as athletes Victor Wembanyama and Carlos Alcaraz, among others.
