Daniel Farke says he wants to repeat his previous promotion achievements with Leeds United after their emphatic 4-0 victory over Norwich City in the Championship playoff semi-final.

Leeds stormed into a 3-0 lead in the first-half thanks to goals from Ilia Gruev, Joel Piroe and Georginio Rutter.

Crysencio Summerville made it 4-0 in the second half and helped Leeds book their place in the Championship play-off final on May 26 where they will face the winner of Southampton and West Bromwich Albion who face each other at St Marys on Friday.

Farke, who has been promoted from the Championship to the Premier League on two occasions with Norwich, told Sky Sports: “The last three seasons I have spent in the Championship. Three years ago, I won the and I was promoted. Last time I won the league and I was promoted.

“Now we have the chance to go up again. I want to repeat what I have done before.

“I have brilliant lads at this club and these fans are amazing. I want to do it again. The atmosphere today was second to none.

“It will be a very tricky game (playoff final). We need to make sure that we keep our cool. We need to make sure that we are not playing with overriding emotion.”
