Ford has abandoned its FNV4 electrical architecture programme, a project intended to streamline vehicle software and help the automaker better compete with companies like Tesla. The decision was driven by exorbitant costs, ongoing delays, and the complexity of integrating software from hundreds of suppliers, sources told Reuters.
