Jennifer Lawrence brought maternity glamour to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2024 Women in Entertainment breakfast gala. The annual event, presented by Lifetime, took place on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
The actress wore a black dress with a plunging V-neck silhouette and short sleeves. She accentuated the look with a croc-embossed belt on the waist, highlighting her baby bump. Lawrence is pregnant with her second child with husband Cooke Maroney, who she married in 2019. They welcomed their son Cy, named for artist Cy Twombly, in 2022.
For accessories, she kept it simple with chunky black earrings in a teardrop shape.
Lawrence collaborates with Jamie Mizrahi for her red carpet looks. Mizrahi has recently dressed the actress in pieces from Christian Lacroix, John Galliano and Dior. The stylist is also known for working with Adele and Jeremy Allen White.
For the 2024 Governors Awards in November, Mizrahi dressed Lawrence in a custom dress by Bottega Veneta from the upcoming pre-fall 2025 collection.
During the event, Lawrence led the presentation of more than $1 million in scholarships next to Amanda Zurawski, the lead plaintiff in Zurawski v. State of Texas, a Texas reproductive rights lawsuit that is featured in the documentary “Zurawski v Texas.” Lawrence is one of the film’s executive producers.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment breakfast gala celebrates the release of THR’s Women in Entertainment issue, which highlights the Power 100 list featuring the most powerful female executives and talent in entertainment. Other attendees of the 2024 event included Ariana Madix, Julia Fox, Laura Dern, Kerry Washington, Kathy Bates, Selena Gomez, Nicole Kidman and more.
