Julianne Hough married classic glamour with a contemporary edge for her look at the 2025 Oscars on Sunday in Los Angeles. The former “Dancing with The Stars” pro styled a look evocative of Grace Kelly in “To Catch a Thief” and more Old Hollywood elegance.
For the red carpet occasion and Hollywood’s biggest night, Hough opted for a flowing dress courtesy of Christian Dior‘s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The dress featured shades of mocha, transitioning from light to dark in flowing fashion.

The sleeveless dress featured a loose skirt with a slightly cinched waisted for added definition to the silhouette. Hough’s dress also included a scarf-life detail, which wrapped around the actress and TV presenter’s neckline, flowing down her back.
As for her accessories, Hough opted for pieces of jewelry, including dazzling statement earrings, courtesy of Martin Katz. Hough’s short blond bob was styled with Old Hollywood sensibility, courtesy of Riawna Capri, with curls and waves. Her makeup included bold brows and a pop of color with a classic red lip by artist Afton Williams. Hough’s Oscar 2025 red carpet look was curated by stylist Jennifer Mazur.

Hough’s gown made its runway debut as part of Paris Fashion Week in September 2024. Dior’s creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, looked to the season’s featured artist Sagg Napoli (Sofia Ginevra Giannì) for a spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection evocative of “female warriors and hunters,” per Joelle Diderich’s review for WWD.
“Like her predecessor, she fused couture elegance with athleisure ease. Dresses and jackets with off-kilter necklines were effortlessly chic, while baggy track pants lent the brand’s signature Bar jacket an urban edge. Jersey even crept into the eveningwear section, with stretchy versions of her signature goddess gowns,” Diderich wrote of the collection.
