Meet NPR’s New Top Arts Editor


Ciera Crawford has been promoted to Chief Arts and Culture Hub Editor at NPR. Crawford has been working with the culture desk since 2021 after serving as a Supervising Producer of “All Things Considered.” She joined the public media networks as a producer in 2019.

“Everything I’ve done in my career has prepared me for this opportunity,” Crawford said. “As a longtime NPR listener and Virginia State University alumna, I’m truly honored. I look forward to partnering with my colleagues across the network to elevate NPR’s culture coverage.”
