Portman attended the summit to speak with United Nations head of global communications, Melissa Ruth Fleming, about gender equality. The topic was “From Equality to Equity: Empowering Women and Girls Everywhere.”
“Natalie shared her perspectives on how we can all do more to invest in women, to amplify and celebrate their voices, and to combat the violence they face both online and offline,” Fleming wrote on Instagram, recapitulating the event.
