New York Men’s Day to Showcase Emerging Brands on Feb. 6

New York Men’s Day will once again kick off New York Fashion Week, but this time the roster will be smaller.

The biannual presentation of emerging men’s brands from Agentry PR will take place on Feb. 6, the first day of the weeklong NYFW, and will showcase six brands. In the past the shows were held on Fridays and between 10 and 12 designers would participate. The date change also required a slimming of the roster, according to Agentry’s founder Erin Hawker.

“Sadly we are limited to six designers this season because of space availability,” she said. “When NYMD was moved to Thursday from Friday, as per usual, our additional space to showcase designers was not available. With the dates staying to Thursdays moving forward, we are already planning ahead for additional designers for September.”

The presentations will be held once again at Location05 next to Hudson Yards, with three brands showing in the morning during a 10:30 a.m.-to-noon session and the others in a 4:30-to-6 p.m. time slot.

Four of the six brands are new to New York Men’s Day with A. Potts and Sivan returning. The other brands are Hold NYC, Joseph McRae, Max Esmail and Peak Lapel.

“We are excited to kick off 2025 and New York Fashion Week with our New York Men’s Day on a new date during the week, Feb. 6,” said Hawker. “Bringing an intimate showing of six designers in two different sessions throughout the day, we are thrilled to introduce four new and emerging brands to our program this season while bringing back A. Potts and Sivan who have shown with New York Men’s Day for the past few seasons. Our mission will always be to highlight talents and provide an outlet to showcase new voices to the community. With the help of our partners, we hope New York Men’s Day will continue to be the highlight of fashion week.”

NYMD will be sponsored by Sperry, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year and will showcase updated versions of the CVO sneaker, designed by Paul Sperry in 1935. The event is also sponsored by Oribe Hair Care and Augment makeup.
