It’s Thanksgiving Week, and every NFL team is hitting the field while the rest of us polish off pie. On tap: three games on Thanksgiving Day, one on Friday, 11 on Sunday and one on Monday. The slate includes six divisional matchups, too — something to keep an eye on after Week 12’s handful of stunning divisional upsets.
Two juicy lines for Week 13: The Eagles and the Steelers are both underdogs heading into Week 13. As of writing, the Eagles’ Week 13 opponent, Baltimore, hasn’t played its Monday night game. Expect the lines to move depending on the Ravens’ performance in the “Harbaugh Bowl.” But right now, Monday afternoon, the Baltimore Ravens are 2.5-point favorites over the rolling Eagles, who on Sunday looked easily like the best team in the NFL outside of the Detroit Lions. They are 9-2 and riding a seven-game winning streak with a point differential of +97.
However the odds shake out before Sunday’s game, the Jalen Hurts/Saquon Barkley vs. Lamar Jackson/Derrick Henry matchup is must-see holiday TV.
Last week, we predicted the Steelers’ trap game against the Cleveland Browns. The 8-3 Steelers were humbled in a blizzard game against their division rivals that snapped a five-game winning streak. Their reward is yet another divisional clash on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals, who at 4-7 are several wins below playoff contention, are 2.5-point favorites. They are coming off a bye, will be at home and boast a quarterback in Joe Burrow, who is first in QBR and passing touchdowns, second in passing yards, and third in passer rating.
Another “come again?” line on the Week 13 odds board is Seahawks–Jets, where Seattle is only favored over New York by 1.5 points. And that after they won a critical divisional matchup to take the tiebreak lead over the Arizona Cardinals in the crowded NFC West. The 3-8 Jets are coming off a bye week and have home-field advantage, but the vibes out of New York are bad.
While Eagles at Ravens feels like it should be the game of the week, San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills takes the Sunday night spot. Niners-Bills looks a lot less like a clash of titans than it did when the 2024-25 schedule was drawn up. While Brock Purdy is expected back for the matchup, the Niners are one of the more disappointing teams in the league so far this season. They’re over a touchdown underdog to the 9-2 Bills, who easily look like the best team in the AFC despite the Kansas City Chiefs’ better record. And the Bills are coming off a bye. And they’re at home. Yikes.
Thanksgiving Day kicks off with a divisional matchup between the best-in-the-league Detroit Lions vs. the cursed Chicago Bears. The Lions are favored by double digits at home. Other divisional games this week include the Cowboys (-4) vs. the New York Giants, Chiefs (-13) vs. Las Vegas Raiders, Houston Texans (-5.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6) at Carolina Panthers.
The biggest favorites of the week go to the Chiefs (-13), Lions (-10.5) and Bills (-7). But the rest of the games look competitive by an odds standard. The closest games of a field goal or shorter are Los Angeles Chargers (-1.5) at Atlanta Falcons, Seahawks (-1.5) at Jets, Bengals (-2.5) vs. Steelers, Indianapolis Colts (-2.5) at New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams (-2.5) at New Orleans Saints, Ravens (-2.5) vs. Eagles and Green Bay Packers (-3) vs. Miami Dolphins.
