Ravens, T Ronnie Stanley agree to 3-year, $60 million extension: Source

The Baltimore Ravens and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley have agreed to a multi-year contract extension, the team announced Saturday

The new deal is for three years and worth $60 million with $44 million guaranteed, a league source told The Athletic.

One of the top pending free agents, Stanley was expected to draw strong interest from the Patriots, Chiefs, and Commanders if he hit the market.

Stanley is coming off a Pro Bowl season at left tackle — the second of his career — in which he played in every regular-season game for the first time in his career. That came after he took a $7.5 million pay cut ahead of last season to remain with the Baltimore Ravens. Turning 31 years old on March 18, Stanley was the No. 1 player in The Athletic’s updated top 150 free-agent rankings.

Stanley’s blocking ability in both the run and pass game was key to Baltimore ranking first in total offense and rushing offense, third in scoring and seventh in passing offense last season. The Ravens’ offensive line allowed the third-fewest sacks (24) in the league, with Stanley responsible for just three, and a pressure rate of 6.5 percent.

Selected at No. 6 in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Ravens, Stanley has spent his entire nine-year career with Baltimore and was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2019. Before his healthy 2024 season, Stanley missed 38 of a possible 72 games (including the playoffs) from 2020 to 2023 due to ankle and knee injuries.
