Sabrina Carpenter made a surprise appearance at one of Taylor Swift‘s final “Eras Tour” dates in New Orleans on Saturday night. Swift and the “Taste” singer performed an acoustic version of the latter’s hit single, “Espresso.”
Carpenter selected a white striped babydoll dress with crystal detailing, which she paired with matching peep-toe platforms, a jeweled choker and an anklet. The former Disney Channel star wore her blond tresses with curtain bangs, while her makeup consisted of rosy blush and a muted mauve lip.
Swift, meanwhile, sported a gradient orange high-low chiffon gown by Roberto Cavalli, which was designed by the brand’s current creative director, Fausto Puglisi. The “Tortured Poets Department” artist has worn several custom Cavalli looks throughout the “Eras Tour,” such as bedazzled skirt sets and a 1920s-inspired gold fringe minidress.
Swift debuted the orange iteration of her pleated Cavalli gown, which she’s also modeled in blue and pink, during her Paris dates of the “Eras Tour” in May.
Stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer has worked with Swift for over a decade, and he’s also behind her “Eras Tour” wardrobe. Swift has worn Cavalli designs consistently since the 2010s, including at the 2015 Brit Awards and during her “Speak Now Tour” in 2011.
Carpenter opened several “Eras Tour” shows from August to November 2023, as well as in early 2024. On Instagram, the singer spoke about reuniting with Swift at Saturday’s show.
“Only stage i’d ever wanna see on a day off,” Carpenter wrote. “Thank you for working late, thank you for being a singer and thank you for having me.”
