A bevy of Broadway’s biggest stars stepped out on Monday for the red carpet opening night of “Patriots” at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Stars like Sarah Paulson, Gillian Anderson and more dressed in their finest threads for the New York City spring event.

Sarah Paulson
Paulson fashioned a set of striped, oversize wool trousers and coordinating blazer courtesy of Marc Jacobs. The “American Horror Story” star’s trousers featured a gathered, high-rise waist. The blazer coordinated perfectly, with oversize shoulders and long sleeves. Paulson also wore a pair of black shoes and carried a small black bag to complete her look.
Gillian Anderson
For her look, Anderson wore the Livia floral midi dress courtesy of Reiss. The frock was perfect for spring, featuring a fitted bodice and flared skirt. The dress also featured a crew neckline with short sleeves. The midi length of the dress included a thigh-high slit. The Emmy winner also wore a pair of sandal heels to finish off her ensemble.
Nikki James
“Suffs” star Nikki James fashioned a red pussybow dress that featured a pleated skirt and long sleeves in a soft fabric. She coordinated the look with matching red pointed toe shoes.
Stella Baker
Stella Baker fashioned this halter twisted flower ruched midi dress by Carolina Herrera. The dress featured a central twisted flower appliqué with a halter V neckline silhouette.
Rosie Benton
Broadway actress Rosie Benton wore the Lacey dress in emerald courtesy of Reformation. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline with short sleeves with ruching detail. The midi-length dress also featured a thigh-high slit.
“Patriots” is a stage play by “The Crown” creator Peter Morgan. The story follows the life of Russian businessman Boris Berezovsky through the decline of the Soviet Union and rise of Russian Oligarchs. The play had its world premiere at the Almeida Theatre in London in July 2022.
