Volvo Trucks holds down number one spot in e-truck segment

Volvo Trucks accounted for almost half of all battery-electric heavy truck sales in Europe in 2024. By Stewart Burnett

In a 5 March 2025 press release, Volvo Trucks confirmed it held down the top spot in heavy duty electric truck sales in both Europe and North America. In Europe, it sold 1,970 units, representing a 47.2% market share within the segment, and in North America its market share was just over 40%.
